Love, love your liver

The liver has a wide range of functions, including detoxification, protein synthesis, and production of biochemicals necessary for digestion. This organ plays a major role in metabolism and has a number of functions in the body, including glycogen storage, decomposition of red blood cells, plasma protein synthesis, hormone production, and detoxification. It produces bile, an alkaline compound which aids in digestion via the emulsification of lipids. The liver’s highly specialized tissues regulate a wide variety of high-volume biochemical reactions, including the synthesis and breakdown of small and complex molecules, many of which are necessary for normal vital functions.

I would add to this list raw beet root, apples and lemon

I would add to this list raw beet root, apples, carrots  and lemon. They have amazing healing properties.

Here is an easy liver tonic that is delicious and it gives lots of love to your liver. Try to use all organic ingredients 🙂  2 medium beets, 1 carrot, 1 apple (any red like pink lady), 1 lemon, fresh ginger (optional). Juice and enjoy!

In case ingredients are not organic peel all of them.

    • Hi Kofegeek,
      I’d try every other day, not that is bad doing it every day, but I believe in variation. One day you can do this juice, another day you can do a green juice, etc.
      I know that after tasting this combo, you’ll have a lot of energy :-). Keep me posted as to how you like it.
